  1. Be careful, folks. Many of these books are SO dated that the information contained in them could be very confusing if not just plain wrong. Try to pick books with a recent copyright date.

  2. I think you have missed a book I found very helpful, it’s:
    WordPress for Beginners 2023: A Visual Step-by-Step Guide to Mastering WordPress (Webmaster Series) of Andy Williams.
    It is up-to-date and obvious to follow. He updates his books, so I got the last version (2023) for free.

  6. I bought WordPress: The Missing Manual – looked up blocks in the index and it wasn’t there – the book is out of date and expensive. Also, the author seems to think that the only thing you would use WordPress for is a blog.
