Snippets by IsItWP

Are you looking for a way to disable Google Analytics in preview mode? While there’s probably a plugin for this, we have created a quick code snippet that you can use to disable Google Analytics in preview mode in WordPress.

When you do a lot of editing in your blog, all the pageviews in preview mode can mess with your Google Analytics stats. This is easy to prevent with a conditional tag called is_preview().

Instructions:

<?php
if( !is_preview()) {
  # Google Analytics Code #
}
?>
