Are you looking for a way to add post class if your post has a featured image? We have created a quick code snippet that you can use to add post class if post has thumbnail in WordPress.


All you have to do is add this code to your theme’s functions.php file or in a site-specific plugin:

// add class if post has thumbnail
function has_thumb_class($classes) {
	global $post;
	if( has_post_thumbnail($post->ID) ) { $classes[] = 'has_thumb'; }

		return $classes;
add_filter('post_class', 'has_thumb_class');
