How To Display Tags in a HTML List

Are you looking for a way to display tags in an HTML list? This snippet will display your website’s tags in an unordered list with items that link to the corresponding tag page.


All you have to do is add this code to your theme’s functions.php file or in a site-specific plugin:

		$tags = get_tags();
		if ($tags) {
			?><ul class="tags"><?
			foreach ($tags as $tag) {
				echo '<li><a href="' . get_tag_link( $tag->term_id ) . '" title="' . sprintf( __( "View all posts in %s" ), $tag->name ) . '" ' . '>' . $tag->name.'</a></li>';
