Disable All Comments

Do you want to automatically disable all comments from WordPress posts? By default, you need to manually disable comments from each post and it’ll take a lot of time. We have created a quick code snippet that you can use to disable all comments in WordPress.

Instructions:

All you have to do is to run these commands on your MySQL database to enable / disable all comments.


// Disable all comments
UPDATE wp_posts SET comment_status = 'closed', ping_status = 'closed';

// Enable all comments
UPDATE wp_posts SET comment_status = 'open', ping_status = 'open';
