Snippets by IsItWP

Are you looking for a way to add specific class to WordPress body_class? It enables you to replace the default body_class settings with your custom settings. We have created a quick code snippet that you can use to add custom body_class to all post and pages in WordPress.

Instructions:

All you have to do is add this code to your theme’s functions.php file or in a site-specific plugin:

add_filter('body_class','add_body_classes');
function add_body_classes($classes) {
    $classes[] = 'my-class-one';
    $classes[] = 'my-class-two';
    $classes[] = 'my-class-three';
    return $classes;
}

You need to add this body_class in the header.php file.

<?php body_class(); ?>

Note: If this is your first time adding code snippets in WordPress, then please refer to our guide on how to properly add code snippets in WordPress, so you don’t accidentally break your site.
