Are you looking for a way to add page numbers to category, tag, and post titles? While there’s probably a plugin for this, we have created a quick code snippet that you can use to add page numbers to category, tag, and post titles in WordPress.
Instructions:
All you have to do is add this code to your theme’s header.php file:

?>

I tried, but It just add the text at the top of the page.
It should append the text inside the h1 tag like this
