I cancelled my SiteGround account 10 minutes after I started using it.
After using the internet for 21 years, SiteGround is the first site that doesn’t allow the user to create their own username. Instead, SG generated a meaningless username. I contacted their online support to be told there was no way to create a meaningful username. I had to ask for a supervisor because the tech I chatted with could not understand English.
I had a problem where I had transferred my business domain but had not properly configured the email hosting so i went several days without receiving any emails. I did not know it because I have multiple accounts. Then someone sent me a text and asked if I had received their multiple emails sent the previous day. As you can imagine, this started a frantic search for why I wasn’t getting any emails. I finally connected with the SiteGround support desk and they fixed the problem within ten minutes and most of that was me explaining what I thought I had done.
Excellent support that got me back in business in the middle of multiple projects.
Technical support is excellent, they have phone support and live chat 24/7. I had a problem with an exported MySQL database being too big to upload, the tech support guys asked me to upload via FTP and they got it in the right place in a few minutes.
