Are you looking for a way to add page templates to the body classes? This snippet will let you add a body class based on a specific page template name.
Instructions:
All you have to do is add this code to your theme’s functions.php file or in a site-specific plugin:
function add_archive_classes_to_page_templates($classes) {
if (is_page_template('news.php')) {
$classes[] = 'news';
}
return $classes;
}
add_filter('body_class', 'add_archive_classes_to_page_templates');
